This is extremely important as it removes virtually all liability from your shoulders in the event that a worker is injured while on the job. You won’t want to have to pay for such an inconvenience out of pocket, so making sure that your contractor has worker’s compensation insurance.

Do you have liability insurance?

Another type of inurance that a roofing contractor should have is liabilty insurance. This way, even in the event that a horrible accident occurs, such as your house burning down, you will not be responsible for the cost of repairs.

Does my new roofing come with a warranty?

Most roofing projects come with a 25-year warranty, so you should expect a warrant of about that long. However, you shouldn’t hire a contractor who offers a warranty of less than 10 years.
